Patriotic artist

Cassie Rivas, of Cortez, stands with her award-winning artwork and art teacher Claudia O’Hara as Janet Lobato awards Rivas $50 for her third-place 2014 Creative Patriotic Art Winner. The Young American Creative Patriotic Art contest is a national program of The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, with prize money up to $5,000.
