Ballots going out next week

Mail-in ballots for the Nov. 4 general election will be sent to active registered voters beginning the week of Oct. 12. To update an address or to register, visit www.GoVoteColorado.com or the county clerk’s office, 140 W. Main St., Suite 1, Cortez.

Montezuma County will have three polling centers where voters may vote in person, update records, request a replacement ballot, and register. The clerk’s office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1; and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 4. Dolores and Mancos libraries will be drop-off locations on Nov. 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Signed ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. on Nov. 4.
