Empire Electric Association experienced an outage in the area surrounding County Road 22 and County Road L on Tuesday.

A vehicle apparently ran into a pole near that area and knocked it down, according to a statement from Empire Electric. Power went off at 3:24 p.m. for 90 consumers in an area that included Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, Indian Camp Ranch subdivision, and numerous residences west of U.S. Highway 491 and Road L. Crews were able to isolate the outage and brought most of the consumers back into service within an hour.

The pole was replaced, and the remaining consumers had power restored at 5:24 p.m.
