CSU Provost Miranda will hold meet, greet in Cortez

Colorado State University Provost Rick Miranda will lead a community outreach visit from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 18, at the Cortez Conference Center, 2121 E. Main.

The visit will include meetings with university staff who work with Colorado State University Extension, agricultural experiment stations and the Colorado State Forest Service. Miranda also will connect with alumni, government officials, business and community leaders, students, parents and other interested residents.

Events in Cortez for alumni, community and friends of the university are open to anyone who would like to attend. These events will offer attendees the opportunity to talk with university leadership and provide input on CSU’s impact in the community.

There is no cost to attend the event, but reservations are requested. Anyone interested in attending can visit www.alumni.colostate.edu or call 800-286-2586 for more information and to RSVP.

University leaders from the areas of Extension, Agricultural Sciences, Alumni Association, and others will join Miranda and Vice President for Diversity Mary Ontiveros for the trip.
