Rainbow trout are fun to catch on the Dolores River above Dolores. Beaver ponds at Ryman Creek are also fishing well.

Duranglers reports that fishing on the upper Dolores River is hitting well.

Cadis and PMDs are hatching. Afternoon showers are increasing flows and may cause clarity of water to change. Anglers are having success with terrestrials and high-floating attractors. For dry flies, Duranglers recommends caddis and stonefly nymphs. When the fish are not on the rise, bead-head nymphs are recommended.

Other suggestions are Sloan's Paralyzer, Yeager's 409, Duranglers peacock caddis, and foam caddis.
