I drive Empire several times during the day and have enjoyed a certain observation. Each day I see many folks out using our parks and sidewalks.
The most happy of these moments is seeing young moms out with their small children walking.
Some have strollers with babies, some with toddlers, and some with both. Not only are these moms getting their own workouts but they are teaching and building relationships with small children.
I wanted to say thank you to these moms and encourage all parents to take the time with their little ones to teach that outside activities are fun.
We enjoy an extensive park system and seeing these moms take the time and effort to teach children important lessons makes me happy each time I see it. Congratulations, moms.
