Robert and Martha (Hannigan) Rivas of Aztec, N.M., are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jillian Suzanne Rivas, to Jesse Ray LaRue, son of Martin and Margie LaRue, also of Aztec, N.M.
Jillian is the granddaughter of Sue Hannigan, of Aztec, N.M., and Fabiola Rivas of Cortez.
Jillian and Jesse live in Albuquerque, where they both attend University of New Mexico.
The couple plan to be married on Oct. 4, 2014 in Durango, Colo.
