Mancos alumna earns radiological degree

Erica K. Blackburn of Colorado Springs graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology at the University of Colorado Health – Memorial Hospital School of Radiological Technologies commencement ceremony, held on July 11, 2014.

The presentation of diplomas and conferral of degrees took place at “The Warehouse” of Colorado Springs, Colo. During the ceremony, Blackburn received the only individual accolades of the evening, the Student of the Year award, as voted on by clinical instructors.

Blackburn was recently employed by Memorial Central Hospital of Colorado Springs as a full-time radiological technologist.

A 2012 graduate of Mancos High School, Blackburn is the daughter of Justin and Diane Ewing of Clifton, Ariz., and granddaughter of Roma Ewing of Mancos.
