School board members take a tour of the new Montezuma-Cortez High School being built on south Sligo Street. Contractors are scheduled to complete the $33.7 million, two-story, 152,500 square-foot project by July 2015, in time to move in and start the 2015 school year. So far, it is on time and on budget. There’s enough concrete in the building for a 4-foot-wide sidewalk from Cortez to Mancos.
