Master dory boat builder and Dolores resident Andy Hutchinson poses near the Dolores River with his stand-up paddle boards that he designed and made with the help of a surfboard-making friend. He and his wife use the boards on McPhee Reservoir. Mostly, Hutchinson builds dories and guides trips down the Grand Canyon, this was his first adventure in building stand up paddle boards.
