Art Beat: Mancos Days a hit, and more to come

From my vantage point on the lawn at Boyle Park, Mancos Days seemed a resounding success.

The Navajo burger hit the spot, Wake Up Laughing had everyone smiling, and The Moetones shook it till they killed the lights. The children had a laser-bedazzled block party in front of Fahrenheit Coffee Roasters, while the walls of the Columbine bulged with the sound of Soul Mesa. After a day of working the Farmers Market in Durango and a float down the Animas, the Saturday evening lineup for Mancos Days tied it all up with a bow.
