OK, OK, a six-year tirade! It’s time someone told Catherine Spencer (Letters, Journal, June 26) to keep her political opinions to herself. When you run down our twice-elected president, you be running down our country, and “you be walkin’ on the fightin’ side of me” – Merle Haggard.
Here I go again. Maybe give Spencer her own column, (she would have something depressing every time), then we wouldn’t have to read it but it wouldn’t clog up our much-enjoyed letters to the editor section.
What a concept, eh?
