Memorial services were held at the Mancos United Methodist Church on December 27 for Jack Allum. Jack was born in 1910 and died at the age of 78.

Mountain lions have killed half of Irene Doerfer's flock of sheep (24 out of 48) during the past year. This week alone three were killed and four in another.
