Wednesday, Feb. 17

7:10 a.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of animal cruelty in the 400 block of East Third Street. Several dogs were left outside during single-digit temperatures.

10:56 a.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of having a dog at large without a leash in the 2800 block of East Main Street.

12:23 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in the 400 block of West Seventh Street. The woman later withdrew her complaint.

10:14 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, failure to present insurance and weaving in the 100 block of West Main Street.

Thursday, Feb. 18

2:11 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, domestic violence, protection order violation, unlawful possession of narcotics and a felony arrest warrant in the 400 block of West Maple Street. He allegedly struck his girlfriend and knocked her to the ground.

7:57 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of trespassing and theft in the 2200 block of East Main Street. She allegedly stole a bottle of vodka.

Friday, Feb. 19

8:07 a.m. Theft and property damage were reported in the 1300 block of East Main Street. A fence was cut, and multiple items were stolen.

1:39 p.m. A cold break-in was reported in the 600 block of South Broadway. A vehicle window was broken out, and two people were captured on video at scene.

4:58 p.m. A firearm was reported stolen in the 800 block of South Broadway. The suspects could not be immediately identified.

11:52 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, driving without a valid license and failure to signal in the 400 block of West Seventh Street.

Saturday, Feb. 20

3:47 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of DUI, driving without a valid license and careless driving in the 2200 block of East Main Street. The man crashed his vehicle into a speed limit sign.

10:24 a.m. Identity theft was reported in the 500 block of Jennings Drive. A fraudulent account was opened in a man’s name.

5:19 p.m. A power drill was stolen from a store in the 1300 block of East Main Street.

10:07 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of third-degree trespassing in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

10:15 p.m. Theft was reported in the 700 block of East Main Street. A cell phone and cash were stolen.

Sunday, Feb. 21

5:40 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of DUI in the 700 block of East Main Street. He crashed his vehicle into another vehicle while attempting to make a left turn.

7:59 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of theft and criminal mischief and was trespassed from the property in the 500 block of South Broadway. He allegedly cut a wall with a razor blade and stole a microwave.

Monday, Feb. 22

9:40 a.m. A cold hit-and-run crash was reported in the 600 block of North Elm Street.

9:55 a.m. Unemployment fraud was reported in the 200 block of South Madison Street.

1:10 p.m. A vehicle was vandalized in the 400 block of South Chestnut Street.

3:55 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of unsafe backing in the 1400 block of East Main Street. She allegedly backed into another vehicle and left the scene.

Tuesday, Feb. 23

12:09 p.m. A woman reported that she was assaulted by an unknown group of people and her wrist was broken. The exact location of the assault was unknown.

3:46 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence in the 600 block of East Main Street. He allegedly struck a woman several times and pushed her into a wall.
