Basketball camp set to take place at M-CHS
Montezuma-Cortez High School basketball coach Mike Hall will host the first annual Panther Basketball Camp, July 7-11 at the M-CHS main gym. The camp is open to male and female players between fourth and 10th grades and costs $30 to attend.
In addition to receiving basketball instruction, campers will receive a free basketball. Players between fourth and sixth grades will practice from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., and players between seventh and 10th grades will practice from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Little League teams set to begin postseason
Hoping to extend their seasons, several Cortez Little League all-star teams will compete in postseason games during the upcoming weeks.
Kicking off postseason will be the Major League All-Star Team, which will play against an all-star team from Durango on July 7. The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Parque de Vida fields.
An all-star team from the Cortez Minor League Division will play in Ignacio on May 7.
