Dolores Public Library reopens under Level Yellow

Dolores Public Library reopened the to the public Feb. 8 after closing in November because of surges in COVID-19 cases. The library’s reopening comes as a result of Montezuma County’s move to Level Yellow on the Colorado COVID-19 dial.

The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. No appointment is necessary, but masks or other face coverings are required to enter the library. Curbside service will continue to remain available for those individuals who cannot wear a mask, as well as for any other patrons who would like to continue utilizing outdoor pickup.

Computer use will be permitted in two-hour sessions at socially distanced computer stations. Several individual tables are also offered on a first come, first serve basis for the use of personal devices. Printing and faxing services are available, as is use of the community room for groups of ten or fewer people during operating hours. The library will operate at a capacity of thirty people in order to maintain social distancing.
