Summertime youth baseball camp open for registration

Montezuma-Cortez High School baseball players and coaches will be hosting a youth baseball camp in Cortez, June 26-28. Players between the ages of 7 and 11 will practice at the Rotary Fields from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. while players between the ages of 12 and 15 will practice at McAndrews Field from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

The cost of the cap is 50 dollars and includes a t-shirt. For more information or to register, contact Travis Greenlee at 970-749-2933.

Strongman competition accepting entries

The fourth annual Ute Mountain Strongman Competition is now accepting entries. The competition will take place at the Ute Mountain Recreation Center in Towaoc, Colo. on July 12. Events will include a Tire Flip, Hummer Pull, Dead Lift, Keg Stack and Farmer’s Walk. For more information, contact Rob at 970-564-5360.

Cortez Burst Triathlon signing up individuals
