Monday June 9

7:57 p.m. A man reported a burglary at Happy Valley Trailer Park where a an iPad and a TV had been taken from a trailer. The door had been broken at the trailer. There were no leads.

Sunday June 8

9:56 p.m. A man was arrested for breaking out the windows of cars in the Vista Mesa Nursing Home. Before the arresting officer arrived witnesses said that the man had tried to enter an occupied vehicle. He had also broken out the back window of a Toyota truck and tried to break out the window of a Chevrolet truck but failed. The man told the arresting officer had just been released from the hospital and wanted to go back. The officer later learned the man had been in the county jail for five days and was scheduled to be released that day but had serious alcohol withdrawal symptoms. The man told the arresting officer he had refused medication for his alcohol withdrawal and now he wanted the medication. The arresting officer took the man back to the hospital where he again refused medication. The officer took him back to jail.

Friday June 6

9:06 a.m. : A woman was arrested for the possession of methamphetamine after her husband found it in her pocket and reported it to the police. The woman was “very forthcoming with her use of meth and told [ the arresting officer] she believed it should be legalized and compared meth to other prescription drugs,” according to the police report. The woman’s husband gave the police officer a 4 gram bag of methamphetamine and the officer also found a pipe in the home.
