Thursday, Dec. 10

8:50 a.m. A man was reported missing in the 900 block of Memorial Drive. He was later contacted and said he had lost his phone and was OK.

11:07 a.m. A propane tank was reported stolen in the 600 block of East Third Street.

2:58 p.m. A man was cited for unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon in the 500 block of East Main Street. He had passed out, and medical personnel found a large knife on his person.

8:59 p.m. A woman lost control of her vehicle during a snowstorm and crashed into a sign in the 1000 block of Lebanon Road.

Friday, Dec. 11

3:36 a.m. A semitrailer crashed and overturned into a ditch in the 1100 block of South Broadway. The driver said another vehicle tried to pass from the opposite direction and came into his lane, causing him to crash.

7:29 a.m. Someone crashed a vehicle into a wall and fled the scene in the 300 block of South Broadway.

9:43 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated motor vehicle theft, first-degree criminal trespass, criminal mischief, tampering with physical evidence, obstruction, resisting arrest, failure to notify police of an accident and failure to report an accident involving a highway fixture in the 2400 block of South Broadway. He allegedly stole a vehicle from a towing yard, crashed into a fence, hit a road sign with the vehicle and attempted to elude capture.

1:44 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of unsafe backing in the 10 block of South Market Street. He allegedly backed into a vehicle stopped at a stoplight.

2:33 p.m. Two women were cited on suspicion of shoplifting in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

5:48 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of harassment and theft and trespassed from Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. He was captured on video pushing a female cashier.

Saturday, Dec. 12

11:47 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant for sexual assault in the 500 block of East Main Street.

1:49 p.m. An SUV rear-ended a semitrailer in the 500 block of South Broadway.

9:42 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and reckless driving in the 100 block of South Beech Street.

Sunday, Dec. 13

1:20 a.m. A man was bitten on the face by his dog in the 1300 block of North Mildred Road.

11:13 a.m. A man crashed into a fence and was arrested, but not formally charged, in the 1100 block of North Mildred Road.

1:17 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, obstruction of telephone service and domestic violence in the 400 block of East First Street. He allegedly pulled a woman’s hair and hit and scratched her, then took her phone and drove away.

Monday, Dec. 14

7:53 a.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of failing to yield the right of way when entering a highway in the 800 block of North Dolores Road. While exiting her driveway, she failed to noticed an oncoming truck and pulled out, causing a crash.

12:08 p.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 500 block of East Main Street. A woman pulling into a parking spot allegedly hit another vehicle, then left the scene.

6 p.m. Two men were involved in a physical altercation involving a knife in the 2300 block of South Broadway. One man allegedly used his truck to ram the other man’s truck while his wife and daughter were inside. They fought each other, and the second man pulled a knife. Both men sustained injuries. The case has been referred to the district attorney’s office.

7:01 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of third-degree assault, careless driving and failure to notify police of an accident in the 600 block of Baker Avenue. He got into an argument with his sister and allegedly punched her when she tried to make him leave. He then drove away, crashed his car and went home.

Tuesday Dec. 15

10:53 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant and cited on suspicion of possession of a weapon by a previous offender in the 400 block of North State Street. During the arrest, a stolen firearm was found in his vehicle.

12:20 p.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 100 block of East Main Street. The victim was stopped at a pedestrian crossing and a dark-colored pickup struck her vehicle from behind then left the scene.
