Friday, Nov. 27

2:11 p.m. A man surrendered a weapon to police at Montezuma County Substation, 420 Central Ave., Dolores. A roommate left the weapon behind.

Sunday, Nov. 29

5:13 p.m. Two men were cited on suspicion of third-degree assault in the 24400 block of County Road G.1. The men were involved in an altercation. A man said the other pulled a gun on him, but no gun was found. The other man pepper-sprayed the man’s face.

Monday, Nov. 30

7:02 a.m. A deputy found a pressure regulator and packaging in the 25000 block of County Road H.

Tuesday, Dec. 1

1:57 p.m. A deer-versus-vehicle crash occurred in the 29400 block of County Road L. The deputy observed the man driving had a joint of marijuana in his hand when contacted and appeared to be under the influence. Colorado State Patrol took over the investigation.

Wednesday, Nov. 18

10:32 a.m. Property damage was reported in the 800 block of Central Avenue, Dolores. A vehicle tire was punctured.

Monday, Nov. 23

10:26 a.m. Theft of a Durango Herald newspaper machine was reported in the 28200 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

12:05 a.m. An abandoned vehicle and bag filled with electronic items was found in the 25500 block of County Road T.5.

4:31 a.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, third-degree assault, protection order violation and criminal mischief in the 28200 block of U.S. Highway 160. She allegedly struck and threatened her husband who had a restraining order against her.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

8:06 p.m. A man was served a summons in the 500 block of Juniper Place.

7:42 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 6000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Saturday, Nov. 28

5:08 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief in the 34600 block of Colorado Highway 184. He allegedly damaged items in the residence.

Monday, Nov. 30

12:17 p.m. A packet of meth was found at a store in the 1000 block of Railroad Avenue, Dolores.

12:49 p.m. Fraud was reported in the 21200 block of County Road 20. A bank suspected money transfers were fraudulent, but the customer said they were legitimate.

Tuesday, Dec. 1

9:34 a.m. Illegal dumping of trash was reported in the 23900 block of County Road 12.

Thursday, Dec. 3

3:41 p.m. A stolen firearm was pawned in the 24000 block of County Road G.2. A warrant was applied for the suspect on charges of possession of weapons by a previous offender and defrauding a pawnbroker.

5:31 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the area of Weeminuche Drive.

Friday, Dec. 4

6:25 p.m. A man was cited on protection order violation for consuming alcohol in the 700 block of East Driscoll Street. He had been trespassing on the property.

Saturday, Dec. 5

10:38 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop in the 27800 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Sunday, Dec. 6

9:30 p.m. A man accidentally shot himself in the foot in the 6400 block of County Road 23.6.

Monday, Dec. 7

6:29 a.m. A fraudulent unemployment claimed was filed in the 100 block of West Main Street.

8:37 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of driving a vehicle while under restraint and failure to provide proof of insurance in the 28200 block of U.S. Highway 160 West.

Tuesday, Dec. 8

1:20 p.m. A civil issue was reported to the Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St. A check for the payment of a car bounced and the vehicle still had the original owner’s license plate on it and he was concerned about liability.

6:35 p.m. A man was served with a protection order in the 16900 block of U.S. Highway 491. He was uncooperative during the service.

Wednesday, Dec. 9

11:41 p.m. A man was served a warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
