Wednesday, Dec. 2

9:59 a.m. A counterfeit bill was reported in the 1300 block of East Main Street.

1:42 p.m. A woman was cited for shoplifting and trespassed from a store in the 400 block of East Main Street.

3:36 p.m. Damage to a truck was reported in the 30 block of South Ash Street.

6:46 p.m. A ladder was reported stolen from a truck in the 500 block of East Main Street. One witness reported seeing it stolen while another witness reported seeing it fall off the truck at an intersection.

8:39 p.m. A driver attempted to elude police while driving and then stopped the vehicle and fled in the 400 block of West Sixth Avenue. Several suspects were questioned, but no arrests were made.

Thursday, Dec. 3

3:32 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of underage possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 2200 block of East Main Street.

1:18 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of following to closely in the 700 block of South Broadway. The driver rear-ended another vehicle.

1:53 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of operating an uninsured vehicle and displaying fictitious plates in the 1500 block of South Broadway.

8:54 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and third-degree assault in the 200 block of South Maple Street. During a physical altercation over keys the woman allegedly hit and kicked her boyfriend. Her hand was injured during the altercation.

9:41 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and reckless driving and his license was revoked in the 300 block of West Fourth Street.

Friday, Dec. 4

3:15 p.m. A dog was attacked by two other dogs in the 1200 block of Balsam Street. The pit bull-type and boxer-type dogs fled and were not located.

3:19 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of failure to stop at a stop sign in the 700 block of North Mildred Road. He was pulling a trailer and said the vehicle could not stop when the brakes were applied. He collided with another vehicle.

4:11 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving without a valid license in the 2500 block of East Main Street. The man and his passenger were found in a vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway.

5 p.m. Fraud was reported in the 1500 block of East Main Street. A fraudulent caller instructed a woman to buy gift cards to deal with a money laundering case the caller believed she was involved with. She bought and turned the gift card codes over to the caller before calling the police.

Saturday, Dec. 5

5:50 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault on a peace officer, felony menacing, obstruction, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and protection order violation in the 500 block of East Main Street. While an officer attempted to remove the man from a property, he allegedly threatened to stab the officer and attempted to strike him.

Sunday, Dec. 6

1:16 p.m. Property damage was reported in the 600 block of South Broadway. An electrical box was broken into to turn electricity back on, and two windows were broken.

3:33 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of third-degree assault and harassment in the 600 block of East Main Street. The man allegedly punched his aunt in the head multiple times, groped her and propositioned her for sex.

7:10 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, failure to provide proof of insurance, driving without a license and weaving in the 500 block of East Main Avenue.

Monday, Dec. 7

1:35 p.m. A vehicle was broken into and items were stolen in the 2400 block of Trinity Avenue.

7:09 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of trespassing in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

Tuesday, Dec. 8

8:40 a.m. Theft of multiple items was reported at a store in the 200 block of Pinon Drive.

11:50 a.m. Identity theft was reported in Cortez. A fraudulent unemployment claim was filed using the man’s identity.

12:58 p.m. Identity theft was reported in the 1000 block of Livesay Drive. Fraudulent unemployment claims were filed using several women’s identities.

6:36 p.m. Shoplifting was reported at a store in the 500 block of North Broadway. Two men were suspected of being involved.

7:33 p.m. Theft and trespassing were reported in the 500 block of South Linden Street. A man was seen going through a shed and a compound bow was missing. Sounds were also heard coming from a vacant apartment.
