Tuesday, Nov. 3

10:29 a.m. A toolbox was reported stolen from a front porch in the 28300 block of County Road K.2.

Saturday, Nov. 7

6:42 p.m. A black truck with a camper shell was allegedly driving recklessly and almost hit a man on a horse while driving livestock down the highway. The man then stopped the truck, got out and yelled at the group before driving away. The driver made a complaint that the man on the horse hit his truck with a rope and that the group did not have a flagger in front to warn drivers. No one was cited.

Sunday, Nov. 8

11 a.m. A woman allegedly backed into a neighbor’s vehicle, causing damage, in the 24000 block of County Road F.5. She said she couldn’t see due to snowy weather and did not realize she had hit the vehicle.

Monday, Nov. 9

7:32 a.m. A possible domestic disturbance was reported in the 15600 block of Colorado Highway 145. An argument between a couple occurred and the woman claimed she was pushed down. The man denied to accusations. The case is under investigation.

Monday, Nov. 16

1:21 p.m. A warrant was issued for a man on suspicion of first-degree assault and domestic violence in the 300 block of North 15th Street. A couple were arguing about finances and the man allegedly struck his wife. She also had a handprint-shaped bruise on her neck, and he knocked over several pieces of furniture before feeling the scene.

10:18 p.m. A woman was trespassed from a residence in the 30200 block of County Road R. The woman entered the house without permission and asked two women for a ride to another location.

Sunday, Nov. 22

3:09 p.m. Burglary was reported at Cortez Municipal Airport, 22874 County Road F. Three hangars were broken into, and items were stolen. The chain lock of a gate was cut and tire tracks were observed. The investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

11:42 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of driving while under restraint in the 27000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Friday, Nov. 27

2:11 p.m. A man surrendered a weapon to police at Montezuma County Substation, 420 Central Ave. Dolores. A previous roommate left the weapon behind.

Sunday, Nov. 29

5:13 p.m. Two men were cited on suspicion of third-degree assault in the 24400 block of County Road G.1. The men were involved in a physical altercation. One man said the other pulled a gun on him, but no gun was found. The other man sprayed pepper spray in the man’s face.

Monday, Nov. 30

7:02 a.m. A deputy found a pressure regulator and packaging in the road in the 25000 block of County Road H.

Tuesday, Dec. 1

1:57 p.m. A deer-versus-vehicle crash occurred in the 29400 block of County Road L. The deputy observed the man driving had a joint of marijuana in his hand when contacted and appeared to be under the influence. Colorado State Patrol took over the investigation.
