12:06 p.m. About 40 yards of fence line was reported as stolen in the 29000 block of County Road T.

Saturday, Oct. 31

2:32 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct, and another man was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct in the 30000 block of County Road S.6. One man was allegedly hit in the head with a metal rake and threatened with a hatchet. The hatchet was embedded in the hood of a vehicle when police arrived. The other man allegedly made threats with a machete.

5:51 p.m. Two dogs attacked and injured a deer in the 35600 block of County Road R. The dog’s owner was cited for dogs attacking wildlife.

Wednesday, Nov. 4

4:04 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant for violating a fire ban at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Sunday, Nov. 8

12:09 a.m. A man brandished a weapon and made threats in the 20000 block of County Road 21.5. The investigation is ongoing.

Monday, Nov. 9

2:32 p.m. A vehicle break-in and theft of a firearm was reported in the 25500 block of County Road N.6 Loop.

Tuesday, Nov. 10

5:54 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

1:03 p.m. A vehicle slid on ice and struck a tree in the 17500 block of Forest Service Road 565.

10:53 p.m. A residence caught fire in the 41700 block of Colorado Highway 184. The resident said a propane floor heater may have been the cause.
