Wednesday, Oct. 21

9:19 a.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of having a dog at large and having a unlicensed dog in the 100 block of South Ash Street.

2:07 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and was trespassed from a property in the 10 block of North Harrison Street.

3:32 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of third-degree assault and protection order violation for consuming alcohol and a woman was cited on suspicion of third-degree assault at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St. The man and woman allegedly hit and kicked a woman.

5:30 p.m. A man made threats toward a school board member during a virtual school board meeting in the 400 block of South Sligo Street. The identity of the suspect is being investigated.

Thursday, Oct. 22

12:13 p.m. A minor traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Park Street and East Main Street. No citations were issued.

4:29 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in the 700 block of East Main Street.

Friday, Oct. 23

1:02 a.m. A semitrailer collided with another semitrailer while changing lanes in the 500 block of South Broadway. The driver who hit the other semi left the scene after speaking to the other driver.

12:44 p.m. A man was stabbed in the arm and above his eye in the 600 block of North Elm Street. The victim declined to tell police who had stabbed him. A knife with what appeared to be blood on it was retrieved from the residence.

4:48 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of having a dog at large and having a unlicensed dog in the 300 block of South Park Street.

9:24 p.m. A man was arrested on warrant for failure to appear during a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Cedar Street.

Saturday, Oct. 24

12:14 a.m. A man and woman were arrested during a traffic stop in the 10 block of South Maple Street. The woman was cited on suspicion of vehicular eluding, obstruction, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to stop at a traffic light. The man was cited on suspicion of obstruction.

9:58 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of changing lanes when unsafe in the 300 block of West Main Street. The driver allegedly changed lanes while another vehicle was entering the roadway and collided with the vehicle’s trailer.

2:14 p.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 200 block of East First Street. Another vehicle appeared to have backed into the hit vehicle.

3:59 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of firing woods or prairie and third-degree trespass in the 1600 block of South Broadway. The man had previously been trespassed from the property and admitted to starting several small fires to “clean up.”

10:55 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, weaving and illegal consumption of alcohol while underage. He was later released to his mother.

Monday, Oct. 26

11:34 p.m. A female inmate was served a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma Count Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

7:39 p.m. One woman was cited on suspicion of shoplifting and trespassing and another woman was cited on suspicion of shoplifting at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.
