Cortez Wrestling Club would like to shout out a huge THANK YOU, to everyone that helped us with our Cortez Wrestling Tournament that was held March 22.
Our thanks, go out to Coca Cola, Ace Builders Choice, IFA, Dennis Rieb’s Auto Works, Keesee Motor Company, Precision Detailing, Notah Dineh, Napa Auto Parts, Sonic, Montezuma County Fairgrounds and Tanner, Keys Energy, Sheriff’s Posse, Lewis Arriola Fire Dept., City of Cortez, Cortez, JR High and High School wrestling teams for their mats, Mancos Wrestling Club, the Cortez High School Wrestlers for their help in reffing- Seager Oliver, Rodney Oliver, Levi Gross, Casey Lynn, Parker Oliver, Ryan Daves, and the other refs who stepped up and helped with the tournament are Joey Trevino, James Snyder, Chance Osment, Jason Hall, Cody Canzona, Briggs Durbin, Harry Atcitty, Art, and Ivan.
Also we like to thank Ruthie Youmans Lee for making Indian Tacos. The CWC board members and kids would like to thank the Parents of the CWC and volunteers that don’t have kids in the program that helped out before, during, and after the tournament. Without the parents help with this tournament it would never happen. Thank you, again.
