7:25 p.m. A wallet was reported stolen in the 100 block of South Fifth Avenue.

Saturday, Sept. 19

5:01 p.m. A firearm was reported stolen in the 16200 block of County Road 20.

Friday, Oct. 2

2:04 p.m. A stolen license plate was reported in the 18300 block of Colorado Highway 145.

Saturday, Oct. 3

12:12 a.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 160. Two women allegedly spray-painted a truck stop building.

2:36 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating three protection orders by consuming alcohol in the 28500 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Monday, Oct. 5

12:18 a.m. An assault was reported in the 100 block of North 11th Street, Dolores. Two men were involved in an altercation after one tried to remove the other man from a residence. A summons for third-degree assault will be issued.

8:20 a.m. A man crashed into a light pole at the Dolores school campus, 1301 Central Ave. The driver said light was in his eyes. There were no injuries.

9:10 a.m. An arrest warrant was sought for a man who allegedly failed to register as a sex offender in Cortez.

10:23 a.m. A male inmate was served two warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for failure to comply.

3:51 p.m. Two mailboxes were damaged in the 20300 block of County Road S. There were no suspects.

Tuesday, Oct. 6

1:21 p.m. A male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a warrant for failure to appear.

3:03 p.m. A male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a warrant for failure to comply.

Wednesday, Oct. 7

1 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of speeding and failing to provide proof of insurance in the 15000 block of County Road 25.

Friday, Oct. 9

3:40 p.m. A male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a warrant for failure to appear.

Saturday, Oct. 10

11:31 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of burning weeds during a fire ban in the 19000 block of County Road S. The fires were extinguished.

6:19 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of having dogs not under control in the 11300 block of U.S. Highway 491. The barking dogs disturbed neighbors.

9:03 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop in the 43500 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Tuesday, Oct. 13

9:53 a.m. A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on two warrants for failure to appear.

4:18 p.m. A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for failure to comply.
