The American Right wing is full of wimps. “Oh no! They’re gonna take away our guns!” “Oh no! They’re gonna make us wear masks!” “Oh no! They’re gonna shut down our church!” An employee at the Big R Store said they ended a mask mandate because the manager was spat on by, I’m guessing, a right-wing wimp. A local liquor store reversed its mask mandate because it was inundated with whining wimps. These are strange times. The Cabela’s camo crowd, chock-full of rugged Western individualism in our rough-and-tumble Montezuma County, has this inexplicable element of ... wimpiness. You can spot ’em easily, they fly the biggest flags emblazoned with TRUMP.
