Saturday, June 25

2:04 p.m.: A man was arrested and cited for eluding an officer after running several stop signs and driving more than 95 mph in a pursuit that began near the 8000 block of County Road 27 and continued on County Roads H and G. He was arrested on foot after his footprint matched one left outside the abandoned car at 25120 Road F.

12:00 a.m.: A man and a woman were given accident reports after the man said that he backed his pickup truck into the woman’s car at a residence in the 17800 block of County Road S.7.

Sunday, June 26

8:02 a.m.: A man who lives in the 28100 block of County Road H reported that he had been the victim of identity theft after someone opened credit accounts in his name.

9:59 a.m.: A man faces a summons for an uncontrolled dog after residents complained about an aggressive dog in the 12200 and 12400 blocks of County Road 22.

2:01 p.m.: A man found at a residence in the 1300 block of Railroad Ave. in Dolores was cited for failing to give information about damaging another vehicle and failing to notify police about an accident after he allegedly backed into and tipped over a motorcycle parked at the Riverfront Bar and Grill in Dolores.

4:35 p.m.: Two men were arrested on suspicion of stealing a screw gun from a worker at The Depot, 520 Railroad Ave. in Dolores. They fled in a car, but were caught during a traffic stop. One man was jailed because of an active warrant; the other was released.

6 p.m.: A man accused a male employee of stealing a drill while working on a trailer in the 30600 block of Colorado Highway 184. A deputy plans to follow up on the case after he has a serial number for the drill.

6:30 p.m.: A driver was stopped in the 14000 block of County Road 25 in Dolores and cited for driving 70 mph in a 40 mph zone, and driving with expired license plates not proof of insurance and no current registration.

Monday, June 27

8:04 a.m.: A man was arrested on a La Plata County warrant at Cedar Diagnostics, in the 1000 block of N. Mildred Road.

Tuesday, june 28

3:15 p.m.: A woman was arrested on suspicion of menacing and domestic violence after she allegedly brandished a knife during an argument with her husband in a residence in the 43000 block of County Road J.9 in Mancos.

3:50 p.m.: A motorcyclist was pulled over near County Roads 30 and T after allegedly traveling 70 mph and cited for no motorcycle endorsement on his driver’s license and no proof of insurance. He received warnings for speeding and no registration.

Wednesday, June 29

11:10 a.m.: A woman reported that American and Colorado flags had been stolen from the Outpost Hotel, 1800 Central Ave., in Dolores. She valued them at $50 each.

2:01 p.m.: Two women and a man were given no-trespass orders after allegedly stealing a moccasin and a boot from The Antique Corral, 6817 U.S. 160. No charges were filed; the shop owner indicated she preferred a civil settlement.

Thursday, June 30

11:12 a.m.: A man showed a deputy a glass jar containing marijuana and a pipe that he had found lying in the grass at County Roads 27.3 and M.

6:45 p.m.: A driver hit a parked car near Central and Ninth streets in Dolores after, she said, she was distracted by her passenger.

9:03 p.m.: A driver with a nonworking headlamp was pulled over at Fourth St. and Railroad Ave. in Dolores cited for driving with a canceled license.

Friday, July 1

7:05 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of harassment in the 11100 block of County Road 24.3 after a fight with another man.

Sunday, July 3

12:01 a.m.: A man was cited for DUI at County Roads 26 and P and for failing to drive in a single lane and failing to show financial responsibility and current registration.

11:26 p.m.: Two inmates at the Montezuma County jail decided not to file charges against each other after a fight.

Monday, July 4

11:39 a.m.: A brush fire was reported in the 11200 block of County Road G, across the road from Battlerock School. Firefighters extinguished it.
