As a Vietnam combat veteran, I was shocked but not surprised when I heard the comments President Trump made about our fallen heroes.
Trump and no-one in his family has ever served our country. He had his daddy buy a doctor to give him a draft deferment for bone spurs. Some of our men fought with shrapnel and bullets riddled in their bodies but they fought on.
Any American who considers themselves a patriot and votes for Trump, I say, shame on you. Any vet who votes or supports Trump, you do your comrades in arms a disservice – and shame on you.
