This fall, voters will be asked to consider Proposition 113, also known as the National Popular Vote. This proposition has but one purpose: It seeks to eliminate the Electoral College.
Our founding fathers wanted all Americans represented equally when they formed our republic so they gave all citizens one vote and created the Electoral College. The Electoral College assures that each state has an equal say in an election.
Proponents hide the intent of this proposition with a misleading title and claim it will somehow make all votes “relevant.”
In Colorado, our votes will be less relevant.
Please vote No on 113.
