12:36 a.m.: A woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and domestic violence after she called deputies to a residence in the 11600 block of Colorado 145 to settle a dispute involving her husband in which she allegedly threw a candle holder and broke a picture frame.

Tuesday, Aug. 23

4:10 p.m.: A teen driver who had a warrant for his arrest was released to his mother after leaving the school parking lot in Dolores.

10:35 a.m.: A woman reported that her purse had been stolen from her parked Jeep in the 20900 block of County Road M. She valued the loss at 288.

11 a.m.: A woman reported that her father might have been the victim of identity theft after a Seattle-based phone charge of $2,329 have been debited to his account.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

5:58 a.m.: A man was arrested on four warrants at Montezuma County jail.

9:24 a.m.: A man was cited failing to control his dog after a neighbor in the 25000 block of County Road F.6 reported that it had attacked turkeys.

Thursday, Aug. 25

8:37 a.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred.

11:15 a.m.: A man visiting the lobby of The Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office was arrested on a warrant for failing to register as a sex offender.

3 p.m.: A woman reported that a neighbor’s dog had bitten her at a home in the 11200 block of U.S. 491.

6:29 p.m.: A employee reported that her purse had been stolen from Habitat for Humanity, in the 6700 block of U.S. 160. The purse was valued at $100 and contained debit cards driver’s license, Medicaid card and $22.

4:15 p.m.: A man reported that a license plate had been stolen from a trailer he parked at 300 Central Ave.
