I want to thank the Montezuma County commissioners for their steadfast protection of our individual rights when it comes to wearing face masks.
As anyone can see, there are a lot of people in government who think that they can tell us what to do, but not our commissioners.
We are all accustomed to our individual liberties being under constant assault, but this face-covering issue just brings it all into focus. However, if enough of us stand firm and resist this encroachment on our personal freedoms, we should be able to keep this virus spreading, maybe all the way to Christmas.
With all the unemployed people struggling to pay their rent, holiday sales could be a total bust, and knowing how dependent our national economy is on consumer spending, we might just be able to pitch our country into a full blown depression! That would show all those pointy-headed liberals and science-spouting elitists what free thinkers can accomplish.
No one is going to push us into behaving reasonably or showing concern for others. No way! Liberate Colorado!
