Spring sports were in full force this week at Dolores High School and Middle School and that could mean only one thing - spring is here!
Track lovers are in full force, and a word of warning to Dolores residents, these athletes are often out and about running the streets of Dolores.
The baseball team is already practicing on the home field with coach Rusty Hamilton. That definitely means spring is early this year. There have been many years in the past, during which the snow and mud have made it impossible for our team to practice. It should be a good year.
Vote for the Dolores video
The Dolores Secondary SPIRIT Council kids put together a video, with the help of computer teacher Karen Webster.
Students need help to vote for the video and spread the word. If they get enough votes, there may be a cash prize. Where to watch and vote: chsaanow.com/leader ship/youcanplay/vote/
Testing starts next week
Dolores Middle and High Schools will begin our state TCAP testing next week.
Please help your students prepare for the tests by making sure they are well rested and have a good breakfast. The school will also be providing snacks during testing.
This will be the final round of TCAP, and we want our students to do the best they can.
