David Nuttle submitted a letter accusing our county officials of being socialists. This is simply unfair and not true.
Our county officials are corrupt petty crony politicians who look out for themselves and their inner circle. They claim to be champions of private property rights and free enterprise but they have no hesitation to walk all over the rights of county residents, landowners and taxpayers when it suits their purposes.
They’re quick to throw the weight and taxpayer-financed muscle of the county behind their ill-conceived fights and enterprises. Yet when it comes to putting their personal resources into their disputes, they’re predictably timid.
Oh well, there’s an election coming up, and we have another unopposed slate of MoCo Republicans trotting out the same old platitudes. Get ready for more of the same.
