Saturday, May 23

2:38 p.m. A 32-foot travel trailer was reported stolen from Four Corners Storage, 26980 County Road M. It was last seen two weeks before. There were no suspects.

Monday, May 25

11:19 a.m. A water dispute between neighbors was reported in the 24500 block of County Road T. A man installed a PVC pipe that was taking water from the ditch without a measuring device. It was unknown whether the piper had been installed with permission. The deputy will follow up.

Wednesday, June 3

5:38 a.m. A man reported an assault at Baymont Inn, 2279 Hawkins St. A man grabbed for his camera, but there was no physical contact. No charges were filed.

Friday, June 5

12:36 a.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of third-degree criminal trespass in the 10200 block of U.S. Highway 491. The woman threatened to steal items from the gas station and refused to leave after being trespassed from the property.

Sunday, June 7

1:21 p.m. A bike was reported lost or stolen from a vehicle bike rack during a road trip. The exact location was unknown. The deputy will follow up.

Monday, June 8

10:51 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of backing up her vehicle unsafely in the 12200 block of County Road 32. She hit an emergency rescue truck.

Tuesday, June 9

2:16 p.m. A man was served with a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. He was transported to jail.

2:49 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of driving with a revoked license, issued proof of service and a warning for careless driving and given a verbal warning for having an open container of alcohol in the 300 block of E. Main Street. The deputy witnessed multiple incidences of careless driving and initiated a traffic stop. The man appeared to be intoxicated. After being cited, the vehicle was released to a valid and sober driver.

Wednesday, June 10

12:50 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of driving with a revoked license and failure to provide proof of insurance in the 25000 block of County Road H.

4:56 p.m. A jail inmate was served a warrant for failure to appear at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:33 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass in the 28200 block of U,S. Highway 160. The man walked into an acquaintance’s trailer uninvited and without knocking, and threw a metal bowl at an occupant.

9:52 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection and bond conditions in the 23800 block of County Road F.4. The woman visited the residence of the man who had a protection order against her.

Thursday, June 11

9:48 a.m. A woman already in custody was served with a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. She was transported to jail.

4:42 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the area of County Road 23 and Highway 184. A vehicle was reported to have driven into a ditch and the driver appeared to be intoxicated. Colorado State Patrol took over the investigation upon arrival.

5:07 p.m. A man already in custody was served a warrant for failure to comply on multiple charges at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Dricsoll St.

Sunday, June 14

12:52 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief and domestic violence in the 6400 block of U.S. Highway 160. The woman broke two windows of her former partner’s residence with a shovel, took an air conditioner unit and broke a television.

6:40 p.m. A man already in custody was served with two warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Dricsoll St.
