The Mission Team at the First United Methodist Church of Cortez would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to this community for so generously supporting our canned food drive for Hope’s Kitchen. It may have been a disappointing Super Bowl for Bronco fans, but it was a super successful Souper Bowl for our soup kitchen. The pantry is now well stocked, enabling our volunteers to provide nourishing hot meals to those in need. Thank you to all the churches, schools, organizations and individuals who donated food and money to provide this service.
