Non-native species an interesting priority

I’m pleased to see that, as its highest legislative priority for 2014, the Montezuma County commission is finally tackling the problem of non-native species here in Montezuma County (proposed ordinance No. 1-2014). I would like to report that I took a walk recently here in McElmo Canyon and saw cows, horses, dogs, alfalfa hay, fruit trees, row crops, and numerous other non-natives. Also, I think my neighbor is Canadian. Send help immediately. But please be careful, because Road G is a rutted, stripeless death trap.
