How about bridges for animals to cross?

I live right by where they put the vinyl in the canals to stop water seepage. It created a deadly slippery slide. No wants to hear the cries of an animal unable to get itself out of the chilly waters.

Some if not all of the animals are drowning because they are simply trying to get from one side to another.

Here’s my thought: every eighth or quarter of a mile put an animal bridge to allow the animals to cross. This is especially important if they have their young with them.

All it takes is a couple of logs and some boards on top, which is cheaper than attempting a fence which will only keep some animals out. They will figure out where these safe crossings are.

I’m just trying to keep animals alive.
