New thrift store fills gap in Dolores

Lynda McKnight has started the From Our Hearts thrift store in Dolores. It is temporarily closed because of the coronavirus but will open when business restrictions are lifted.

From our Heart Thirft Store in Dolores has a variety of useful items including clothing, boots, dishes, artwork and games.

When nonessential businesses are allowed to reopen, the From Our Heart Thrift Store in Dolores, 350 Railroad Ave., will be waiting for buyers.

Hours will be Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Owner Lynda McKnight has an impressive collection of useful and unique items. The store is filled with clothing, shoes, boots, Western items, dishware, crafts, artwork, collectibles, leather work, toys, games, records, jewelry, historical items, outdoor recreation gear, kayaks, water skis, hardware, holiday items and lawnmowers.

The thrift store is at the former Lizard Head cyclery building.
