Community Emergency Relief Fund opens grant applications

The application for the second round of Community Emergency Relief Fund granting is open through April 22. Grants will be disbursed at the end of April, providing at least $50,000 of emergency response funding to nonprofit organizations offering direct services to mitigate the negative impacts of the COVID-19 crisis.

Grants will range from $1,500 to $5,000 each and will be distributed across all five counties in Southwest Colorado (Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan counties). Examples of eligible nonprofit organizations include, food security providers, housing security providers, youth organizations, health care and mental health providers and senior service providers.
