I have been the nurse managing the COVID-19 information line (564-2201) for our community members.

As health care providers, we have been thanked around the world for all the work we are doing as we care for patients and prepare to care for more; believe me, we appreciate the gratitude.

However, I want to extend the same expression of thankfulness to everyone in our community and surrounding counties for their efforts in decreasing the spread of this novel virus.

I feel like I have developed a friendship with many of you, and I will continue to help provide information on COVID-19 to the best of my ability.

I have been so impressed by how many of you are invested in doing the right thing for your fellow man. I am proud of you and thank you for all your support you are providing our front-line health care workers.
