How will we use this time for change?

Life begins at the end of our comfort zone!

No doubt the Coronavirus has bestowed a great inconvenience upon all of us. And for people whose very lives have apparently been built around convenience, this is difficult.

Oh, how dependent we have become on our conveniences. And still we have not enough time. Time had become more valuable than money, as most will agree. “I don’t have enough time,” “I’ll see if I can make time.”

We’ve been searching for it in so many crowded places.

Recreation points to sports, holidays, amusements, etc. But re-creation becomes different. When all that was familiar changed, or is gone completely, our life goes into a state of re-creation!

We get to re-create it a better way than we lived before.

So here we are, in this little window of free time to do what we have been complaining about not having time to do. Change those old habits! Re-create a new relationship within our families!

Clean! Clean out the closets! Learn to do something to be shared! Get more rest! Learn how to re-purpose!

Really cook! Eat less!

Be willing to give up boredom and resentment!

Be resourceful with what we have to get us through! Reclaim our abilities to use our creativity! Remember how to feel and be grateful again!

When all of this is over, may we have discovered that what we have is enough, and that we are, after all, truly rich!
