Dorothy Harvey Lindamood was born Jan. 13, 1924, in Des Moines, Iowa to Mr. and Mrs. Mel Harvey. She passed away at the Valley Inn in Mancos on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at the age of 89.
On Aug. 8, 1948, in Denver, Colo. Dorothy married Charles E. Lindamood and to this union two daughters, Betty and Charla, were born. Dorothy was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved being outdoors, and fishing with her grandson, Eric, was one of her favorite things to do.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Betty J. Lieurance and husband, Arlin of Mancos, and Charla Lane and husband, Rob of Denver, Colo.; her grandson, Eric Anton and wife, Amy of Denver, Colo.; her great granddaughter, Eden Anton of Denver, Colo.; and her siblings, Judy Farrell and Jim Harvey both of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Randy Lieurance; and her brothers, Wilbur and Roger Harvey.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to The Smile Train.
