Jan. 27 was Mac Neely’s 99th birthday. The Valley Inn was crowded with friends and relatives, and many residents who wished her a happy birthday.
Helen, Rena Wilson and Jo Savage presented a lovely table of goodies for all. No candles — too many! Mac has been part of TVI for three years. Started Grand Summer Nights events in the town of Mancos. She says now she can spend her extra time with the kids that come to visit with the art group and other activities. She misses her time spent with the public and other groups in town. She wishes them all well.
Next year, Mac will be 100 years old and is planning on a big event for this town. Anyone wanting to help just come and visit with her to plan the town’s “blockbuster,” — you’re more than welcome.
