12:24 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 15500 block of Colorado Highway 145 about a report of a possible theft and vandalism. A deputy took a report about a business owner’s suspicions about who might be tearing down his security cameras.

Monday, Feb. 3

6:16 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue an active warrant to a male inmate.

Wednesday, Feb. 5

4:40 p.m. A deputy received a letter about an inappropriately installed septic pipe in the 6800 block of County Road G.

8:37 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 23800 block of County Road F.4 to take a report about the violation of a protection order based on contacts through Facebook.

Thursday, Feb. 6

8:30 a.m. A deputy who was at Dolores Town Hall took a report about damage to a potable water dock. It could not be determined who caused the damage.

Sunday, Feb. 9

7:14 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 23800 block of County Road 10 to take a report about a suspected fraud being conducted on the internet.

Monday, Feb. 10

12:10 p.m. A deputy was patrolling in the 7000 block of County Road H when he witnessed a Nissan sedan with loosely tied furniture on the roof. The deputy stopped the male driver to warn of the hazard. The driver had an active warrant. He was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

3:57 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve an active warrant to a male inmate.

11:19 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 5000 block of Road G about a single-vehicle accident. A witness said the occupants had left the scene. The occupants were located several hundred feet to the west of the accident. One of the man had an active warrant, and he was left in custody of a Colorado State Patrol trooper.

8:06 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 23900 block of County Road F.4 about a possible domestic violence incident. The deputy determined no crime had occurred.

Wednesday, Feb. 12

11:52 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Courts, 865 N. Park St., to remand a man into custody. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

1:38 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Courts, 865 N. Park St., to issue two active warrants to a man. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Thursday, Feb. 13

10:10 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue an active warrant to a male inmate.

10:16 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue an active warrant to a male inmate.

9:01 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue an active warrant to a male inmate.

Sunday, Feb. 16

11:52 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 1700 block of East Seventh Street in Cortez about a report of a stolen vehicle. A Dodge truck reported stolen out of Farmington, New Mexico, was discovered. The vehicle was towed to a storage yard and law enforcement in Farmington was notified.

5:31 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Four Corners Monument, 6720 U.S. Highway 160 about an assault. A man was stopped who was traveling in a dark-colored Hyundai SUV. The man was released after it could not be determined which agency was responsible for the incident and the legal detention time limit had been reached on holding the man.
