Durango police seized a “significant amount” of LSD, cocaine, ketamine and cash Thursday night after a traffic stop.
The investigation started when a patrol sergeant stopped a man on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to a Durango Police Department post on Facebook.
The sergeant was later joined by a police officer in his second week of training who took over the investigation, the post said.
The rookie officer arrested a New Mexico man on suspicion of drug distribution and driving under the influence, the post said. The drugs and cash were found during the investigation, the post said.
