Dolores Elementary recently held a K-12 poster contest around the guiding principles of Respect, Responsibility and Safety. Through anonymous voting with the staff, the top eight posters were selected.

Student Council representatives and the top winners of the contest presented them to community businesses that agreed to display the posters in their buildings. The goal was to remind students and the community to show respect, responsibility and safety in life.

Visit the Dolores Public Library for more student art. A reception will be at the library on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Enjoy refreshments and live music.

Art will be displayed through November.
