The Dolores River Anglers will meet
The Dolores River Anglers will have a general membership meeting on Nov. 18 downstairs at Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant.
A meet-and-greet will be 6 to 6:30 p.m. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m.
James Roberts, a researcher with the Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, Colorado State University, has spent the past several years leading a team analyzing the probable impacts of climate change on cutthroat populations in the Upper Colorado River Basin, which includes the Dolores River Basin. James will be joined by Chris Rasmussen, a local riparian ecology researcher who is leading a multiyear ecological study of the lower Colorado Basin riparian areas.

Little Bauer Trail closing section
Portion of Little Bauer Trail to be temporarily closed due to logging activity.
The Dolores Ranger District will temporarily close a portion of the Little Bauer loop trail and Forest Road 385.D from the bridge east to Forest Road 385 to public traffic today through Dec. 15.
The closure is necessary to protect public safety during logging operations underway in the area.
The portion of the Little Bauer Trail affected by the closure is the southeast portion from the footbridge across the creek on Forest Road 385-D heading north for about a half mile to the intersection of the trail that goes east and west. Proposed budget for Dolores library
Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget for the Dolores Library for the ensuring year of 2014 has been filed at the Dolores Public Library, where it is open for public inspection.
That such proposed budget will be considered at a public hearing at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Dolores Library. Any taxpayer within the Dolores Library District may at any time prior to the final addition of the budget file or register his objections thereto.
