What a great year we have had. We redid our website and redid our brochures. We teamed up with the Dolores Library and offered Facebook and Social Marketing classes and an informative session on the Colorado Health Care program. Speaking of the Dolores Library, it is re offering some very innovative programs:
You can Book a Librarian for free to be your personal helper. Do you need help with research, a job search (résumé), your computer or software? Book a librarian for up to two hours at the library for free. To schedule please come in, call (882-4127) or visit our Web page www.doloreslibrary.org
Tech time, Tuesdays from 3-5 p.m. You can drop in with your technology and software questions. It's free. Call 882-4127 if you need information about these library programs.
Let me remind you of the great, free perks from being a Dolores Chamber Member. We continue to offer free business consolations through Region 9 Economical Development. If you attend our membership meetings, or are selected as a featured member for the month, we place a link to your business on the front page of our website. If you will let us know about any sales or deals or events you are either hosting or involved in, we will be happy to market it for you. You can prominently display any flier or poster, or brochure or business card in the Visitor's Center and you can get a mention in this monthly article. If you host an event, just let us know, and we will attend and take pictures of the event and do our best to get them in the local papers for you and more.
