Monday, Dec. 16

8:01 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 25000 block of Road N.6 Loop near Cortez for a report of domestic violence resulting in injury. Two men had been involved in a fight, and one man had a 3½-inch gouge on his head after being hit with a painting. One of the men was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, domestic violence and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

9:27 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to serve an active warrant to a man. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

10:47 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve three active warrants to a female inmate.

10: 56 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve two active warrants to a male inmate.

11:21 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve an active warrant to a male inmate.

1:09 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve an active warrant to a male inmate.

1:10 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve three active warrants to a male inmate.

1:17 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve three active warrants to a male inmate.

Thursday, Dec. 19

3:19 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve an active warrant to a male inmate.

Friday, Dec. 20

12:53 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to assist the Colorado State Patrol in the 24000 block of County Road G. A man who had been arrested was refusing to get in the State Patrol vehicle. The deputy and the trooper required the assistance of several other officers to put the suspect into the vehicle for transport to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

4:34 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center to issue a warrant to a female inmate.

8:03 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to a domestic violence call in the 12000 block of County Road 44 near Mancos. A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Saturday, Dec. 21

3:25 p.m. A drug-recognition deputy was requested by the Colorado State Patrol to the 1300 block of North Mildred Road. After a woman performed several tests including the walk and turn, the Romberg balance test and the finger-to-the nose test, the deputy informed the trooper that the results indicate the suspect had been using cannabis.

Sunday, Dec. 22

1:43 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 6800 block of County Road 25 about a report of a trespassing. The deputy saw the suspect trying to get up from the kneeling position. The deputy grabbed the man and ordered him back to the ground or he would be tased. The suspect failed to comply and was tased. The man had walked in on a woman in the house. The woman had never seen the man before. The homeowners did not want to press charges. The man was intoxicated and said he thought the house was a location of a party. The man was charged with trespassing. The next day a missing tooth from the suspect was located in the house and returned to the man.

10:47 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 23600 block of County Road F.5 for a reported theft. The deputy took a report about a stolen bicycle and some clothes. A woman was arrested on suspicion of theft and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

12:18 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue three active warrants to a female inmate.

9:12 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue an active warrant to a male inmate.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

5:42 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Mesa Verde Retirement Home, 24760 Road G, about a report of an assault. A resident wanted to report an injured arm suffered in an encounter with an employee of the retirement home. The deputy is requesting the case be forwarded to the district attorney for review and possible charges.
